For vertebral augmentation procedures
Balloon kyphoplasty (BKP) is a minimally-invasive procedure that uses inflatable bone tamps to reduce vertebral compression fractures (VCF), restoring vertebral height and relieving pain.1
The Kyphon Assist™ directional cannula provides more predictable inflation and direction of cavity creation during balloon kyphoplasty.2
During vertebroplasty, bone cement is injected into the vertebral body for stabilization.
