- Before surgery: Surgical planning software can help surgeons prepare for the patient’s procedure before the patient ever arrives in the operation room.
- During surgery: Intraoperative imaging provides a detailed view of the patient’s anatomy in real time. This real time view enhances the surgeon’s accuracy during the procedure.
HOW DOES SURGICAL IMAGING AND NAVIGATION WORK?
Using intraoperative scans and a technology similar to GPS, the StealthStation® surgical guidance system allows surgeons to visualize the patient’s anatomy in 3D and the placement of surgical instrumentation throughout the procedure.
The Mazor X Stealth™ edition platform combines specialized computer software and instruments to plan where and how they will operate on your spine. Then an automated robotic “arm” holds key surgical instrumentation in place for the surgeon as the system helps your surgeon visualize your anatomy in real time. The robotic guidance helps your surgeon execute their plan and perform the surgery with precision.

Surgery with the O-arm® imaging system and navigation technology may enable your surgeon to:
