RELIEF IS JUST THE BEGINNING

To help patients find relief without getting discouraged or giving up, Medtronic uses a multi-channel engagement program that delivers informative and relevant content from initial awareness of the condition through diagnosis, treatment, implantation, and post-implant life. Multiple touchpoints help keep relief top of mind with your patients:

  • Educate patients about conditions and therapies
  • Reinforce the need for regular follow-ups
  • Encourage appointment scheduling
  • Emphasize the value of a bladder/bowel control specialist

ONGOING SUPPORT

When your patients receive bladder or bowel control therapies from Medtronic, we offer to enroll them in Support Link™ (with clinician authorization). The Support Link team contacts patients to check on their progress, answer their questions about the therapy or smart programmer, and provide a first line of support designed to reduce the clinical burden on your practice. Support Link specialists capture urinary and/or bowel symptoms as documented in their symptom diaries. If patients are seeing less than a 50% improvement in one or more symptoms, Support Link specialists will make adjustment recommendations based on physician direction (i.e. stimulation increase/ decrease, switch sides, switch programs). Specialists may also share tips and resources to support patients undergoing an evaluation and establish therapy expectations.
