Enteer™ re-entry system

The Enteer™ re-entry system facilitates placement of balloon dilatation catheters or other intravascular devices during percutaneous transluminal angioplasty.

Description

Target a vessel's true lumen from the subintimal space by using the Enteer™ re-entry catheter to cross chronic total occlusions (CTOs). Leverage the self-orienting balloon that, when combined with an Enteer™ guidewire, enables re-entry. With two balloon sizes and three guidewire options, the Enteer™ re-entry system can be used to access and cross lesions, above or below the knee, without any capital equipment investment.

The Enteer™ re-entry guidewire is intended to facilitate placement of balloon dilatation catheters or other intravascular devices during percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA). The Enteer™ guidewire is not to be used in cerebral blood vessels. When used as part of the peripheral system, the Enteer™ guidewire is indicated for use to facilitate the intraluminal placement of conventional guidewires beyond stenotic peripheral lesions (including chronic total occlusions) prior to placement of other interventional devices.

The Enteer™ re-entry catheter is indicated for directing, steering, controlling, and supporting a guidewire in order to access discrete regions of the peripheral vasculature. When used as part of the peripheral system, the Enteer™ catheter is indicated for use to facilitate the intraluminal placement of conventional guidewires beyond stenotic peripheral lesions (including chronic total occlusions) prior to placement of other interventional devices.

Features

Design of Enteer™ re-entry system

  1. Over-the-wire (OTW) 0.014” and 0.018” guidewire compatibility allows for flexibility during a case and minimizes guidewire exchanges.

  2. With three offerings, the 28° Enteer™ guidewires are designed to find the Enteer™ catheter exit port and re-enter true lumen.

  3. When inflated, the flat shaped balloon self-orients toward the true lumen within the subintimal space.

180° and offset exit ports on each side of device allow the Enteer™ guidewire to re-enter the correct port into the true lumen.
