The Azure™ MRI SureScan™ pacemaker is enabled with BlueSync™ technology, allowing for tablet-based programming and app-based remote monitoring. The device includes exclusive algorithms to manage atrial fibrillation (AF) in pacemaker patients.
Atrial fibrillation is prevalent and clinically challenging
- One in three cardiovascular implantable electronic device (CIED) patients will develop new onset AF within the first 2.5 years of implant.1
- Atrial fibrillation increases the risk of heart failure by more than three-fold.2
