Description

The Azure™ MRI SureScan™ pacemaker is enabled with BlueSync™ technology, allowing for tablet-based programming and app-based remote monitoring. The device includes exclusive algorithms to manage atrial fibrillation (AF) in pacemaker patients.

Atrial fibrillation is prevalent and clinically challenging

One in three cardiovascular implantable electronic device (CIED) patients will develop new onset AF within the first 2.5 years of implant.¹
Atrial fibrillation increases the risk of heart failure by more than three-fold.²
Atrial fibrillation patients³ experience a five-fold increase for ischemic stroke risk.
