Description
While ordinary meshes can carry the risk of in-growth into the esophagus, Parietex™ composite mesh is coated on one side with a collagen-based film to help minimize visceral attachment.†,1,2 Its design provides for easy placement of the mesh for hiatal hernia repair.3
Parietex™ composite mesh is created from a macroporous polyester material whose properties encourage healthy tissue integration.‡,2,4,5
Parietex™ composite mesh is used for the reinforcement of tissues during surgical repair. It is indicated for the treatment of incisional hernias, abdominal wall repair, and parietal (i.e. pertaining to the walls) reinforcement of tissues.
