Acid reflux and heartburn

Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD, is a digestive disease characterized by chronic acid reflux, which occurs when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus. If you suffer from chronic heartburn, acid reflux, or similar symptoms, you may have GERD.
