Irrigated radiofrequency ablation
Cardioblate™ Gemini™-s surgical ablation device

The Cardioblate™ Gemini™-s, featuring a malleable neck, is a bipolar irrigated radio-frequency MICS device.

Features
Lateral conduction block
Isolate the posterior left atrium of the heart with two lesions.4,5
Cardioblate™ Gemini™-s irrigated RF is a MICS surgical ablation device that provides a lateral approach to the posterior left atrium of the heart. The unique bipolar clamp design and flexible neck make it possible to access this area and create conduction block with two lesions.
Our device navigates the transverse and oblique sinuses — which are natural pathways around pericardial reflections — to position the clamp on the posterior left atrium of the heart. This lateral approach minimizes the need for blunt tissue dissection.3
Ablates thick and fatty tissues6
The Cardioblate™ Gemini™-s iRF surgical ablation system provides additional power which may ablate through thick and fatty tissue associated with the posterior left atrium.
Easy positioning
Guides use natural anatomical pathways for the Cardioblate™ Gemini™-s iRF device to follow and aid in jaw placement.5
Quick connect
Guides easily to connect to — and disconnect from — the jaw tips.2,3
Key risks of the Cardioblate™ Gemini™-s surgical ablation device include: tissue damage, extended procedural time, non-transmural lesions, conduction disturbances, bleeding, burn, stroke, TIA, acute ischemia, pericardial effusion or tamponade.
