ProGrip™ self-gripping polyester mesh is intended for use in reinforcement of abdominal wall soft tissue where weakness exists.

No, you do not need to hydrate the mesh.
Yes, the rectangular mesh can be cut to the required dimensions.
The technique used to anchor the mesh (suture and/or tack) is left up to the surgeon. The textile self‑gripping feature makes it possible to position the mesh without fixation, depending on the size of the defect, the hernia position and the quality of the anatomical structures.
