Program Requirements

  • Sensor return requirement -to participate in the Nellcor™ pulse oximetry sensor sustainability program, a participating facility must return no less than 85% of its collected, used sensors to Medtronic (through the Cardinal Health recycling buckets).
  • For a committed Nellcor™ pulse oximetry account, participating the facility must maintain at least 85% of its pulse oximetry purchases with Medtronic.

  • †Oxygen saturation accuracy can be affected by certain environmental, equipment, and patient physiologic conditions (as discussed in the operator’s manual for the monitor) that influence readings of SpO2. Please consult the IFU and manual for full safety information.

  • Nellcor™ Pulse Oximetry Sensor Sustainability Programs are only available tn the United States.

  • Nellcor™ pulse olometry monitoring system should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis or therapy and is intended only as an adjunct in patient assessment.
