CareLink 2490 Home Monitor

Important information for patients with CareLink 2490 home monitors

If you currently have an implanted heart device and a CareLink™ home monitor that you would like to continue using, you must add a monitor accessory in order to continue sending device information to your clinic. These monitors must be upgraded — as telephone companies are phasing out traditional landline phone services and replacing them with newer digital services. Unfortunately, the CareLink 2490 home monitor is not compatible with these digital services.
