The Dextile™ anatomical mesh has:
A mesh designed to offer a balanced combination of macroporosity, surface density, and mechanical strength for successful hernia repair.
Symbotex™ composite mesh provides surgeons improved ease of use, with easy mesh deployment and placement within the abdominal cavity. It also brings optimal performance for patients with excellent tissue integration and minimised visceral attachments.
Symbotex™ mesh is available in a large variety of shapes and sizes for laparoscopic hernia repair, with specific subranges dedicated to laparoscopic and open surgery.
Designed to address key issues in laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, ProGrip™ laparoscopic self-fixating mesh delivers tack-free fixation over the entire anatomy([FOOTNOTE=0Kolbe, T, Hollinsky, C, Walter, I, Joachim, A, and Rülicke, T. Influence of a new self-gripping hernia mesh on male fertility in a rat model. Parietex™ Composite ventral patch is a mesh specifically designed for small ventral hernia repair. The shape, size, and the specific fixation and deployment system have been designed for optimal abdominal wall conformability and easy deployment and fixation.([FOOTNOTE=Based on internally sponsored preclinical study report #0506-141814, Report 10 days and 4 weeks implantation study in a porcine model, March 2012, and report #0506-141814, Report 10 days and 4 weeks implantation study – amendment 1, June 2012.],[ANCHOR=],[LINK=])
Parietex ProGrip™ self-fixating mesh delivers security, patient comfort and ease of use. Its advanced microgrip technology provides immediate fixation([FOOTNOTE=Data on file.],[ANCHOR=],[LINK=]) of the entire mesh surface for a secure repair and even distribution of tension for patient comfort. Designed for ease of use, the resorbable polylactic acid (PLA) microgrips enable surgeons to position and place the mesh in under 60 seconds([FOOTNOTE=Philippe Chastan, MD (2006). “Tension-Free Open Inguinal Hernia Repair Using an Innovative Self-Gripping Semi-Resorbable Mesh.” Journal of Minimal Access Surgery; pp 139-43. ],[ANCHOR=],[LINK=]), without the use of additional fixation.([FOOTNOTE=Additional fixation is at the surgeon’s discretion.],[ANCHOR=],[LINK=]) Surgeons and patients can depend on a secure repair with the potential for greater patient comfort.
All Parietex™ products are created from a macroporous polyester material which produce superior cellular proliferation when compared to polypropylene mesh in vitro.([FOOTNOTE=Lefranc, O., Codoro, C., Vernier, A., Hadba, A., Gravagna, P. and Therin, M. Parietex™ mesh provides a custom-designed mesh for laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. It combines Parietex™ 2D weave with Parietex™ 3D weave.
The 2D weave is lightweight and macroporous with a design that is rigid, making it ideal for laparoscopic applications due to its handling properties.
The 3D weave is also a lightweight, macroporous mesh but has a design that provides compliance and softness. This softness allows for gentle placement over sensitive nerve and vessel structures in the inguinal area.
All Parietex™ products are created from a macroporous polyester material whose properties invite healthy tissue integration and mesh compliance while reducing encapsulation.22
Parietex™ folding mesh has a suture to fold the mesh, making insertion into a laparoscopic cannula easier. This design enables ease of placement of the mesh into the surgical site for inguinal hernia repair.
All Parietex™ products are created from a macroporous polyester material whose properties invite healthy tissue integration and mesh compliance while reducing encapsulation.22
Parietex™ flat sheet mesh comes in both 2D weaves (TEC) and 3D weaves (TET) designs.
The 2D weave is a lightweight, macroporous mesh with a design that is rigid, making it ideal for laparoscopic applications due to its handling properties.
The 3D weave is also a lightweight, macroporous mesh but has a design that provides softness. This 3D weave allows for compliance and isometric movement with the patient. Its macroporous nature provides optimal cell ingrowth.
All Parietex™ products are created from a macroporous polyester material whose properties invite healthy tissue integration and mesh compliance while reducing encapsulation.22
Innovation meets performance in this comprehensive line of synthetic mesh for hernia surgery. Accommodating broad flexibility in preferred techniques and in inguinal, ventral, umbilical, open and laparoscopic surgical procedures, our mesh portfolio combines superior clinical efficiency with positive patient outcomes. This depth and diversity of design allows surgeons to take a patient-specific approach to hernia repair while enjoying the enhanced value of line standardisation.
