The Signia™ stapling system

Control with power1

Lead with intelligence1

What real-time feedback provides:

  • Real-time information to the clinician1
  • Visual cues that correlate to the tactile feedback of a manual stapler2
  • Tissue sensing that gives feedback upon clamping and firing through tissue3,4

Real-time feedback

  • The Signia™ stapling system's real-time feedback before and during firing, allows you to make an informed decision about your staple load selection.2,††
  • For example, if clamp feedback is elevated, the current reload may be clamped on thicker tissue, more challenging tissues applications, or may indicate additional materials are in the jaws.3,4,†
  • This feedback is continually displayed during firing helping to support identification of areas along the staple line where higher forces were experienced.3,4

Zone 1

Zone 1 indicates the stapler will start firing at its regular speed to deliver optimal staple formation5

Zone 2

Zone 2 indicates the stapler will require a higher firing force due to thicker or variable tissue and the device will slow its speed to deliver optimal staple formation5

Zone 3

Zone 3 indicates the stapler will require the highest firing force due to very thick or variable tissue and the device will adjust to its slowest speed to deliver optimal staple formation5
