BRADYARRHYTHMIA Management

We are dedicated to delivering unparalleled products and features to help improve productivity, support clinic efficiency, and help you help your patients.

Overview

About 3 million people worldwide are living with a pacemaker, and each year about 600,000 pacemakers are implanted to treat bradycardia patients.1 Our innovative and reliable bradycardia treatment options provide a range of healthcare solutions for your patients.

Bradycardia — an abnormally slow heartbeat — is commonly associated with a variety of complications, including:

  • Hereditary heart defects
  • Certain illnesses or heart medications
  • The natural aging process
  • Scar tissue from a heart attack
  • Sick sinus syndrome (e.g., sinus bradycardia or sinus node dysfunction)
  • Dysfunction of the heart's natural pacemaker
  • Heart block
  • The electrical impulse that travels from the upper to the lower chamber of the heart is irregular or blocked
