CareLink Express™ Mobile App

SIMPLIFY DEVICE CHECKS WITH CARELINK EXPRESS MOBILE

Our advancement into the smart technology arena means a mobile tablet can now be used to interrogate a patient’s cardiac device in a variety of healthcare settings (e.g., emergency rooms, operating room, procedural areas, hospital nursing floors). Using a Medtronic Patient Connector (Model 24967), an Apple®* tablet, and a free app; a device check can be done quickly — and sent securely to a device specialist for interpretation.

HOW IT WORKS

first 3 illustrations of how mobile app works

Medtronic cardiac device is interrogated in a healthcare setting using the Patient Connector and the CareLink Express mobile app on the tablet.

The app will confirm that the transmission was successful.

A Medtronic representative or device follow-up clinician (configurable by site) is notified of the transmission and reviews the data remotely on the CareLink Express website.

A telephone call is made by the reviewer to the clinician in the CareLink Express healthcare setting (where the patient’s device was interrogated) to discuss the technical findings.

DATA ACCESS OPTIONS A faxed copy of the interrogation summary reports can be sent back to the facility. The summary reports are available via the CareLink Express website.

The patient’s follow-up clinic receives transmission data for patients currently enrolled in the CareLink network.
