MedPointsTM

Building deeper and longer-lasting relationships with hospitals through partnership.

MedPointsTM is a way to recognize and reward our customers' commitment and help them to tackle some of today’s health challenges. We are proud that over 129 hospitals are putting over £35million in MedPoints into action and driving improvements in how services and care are delivered.

What is MedPointsTM?

MedPoints™ is a transparent, equitable and compliant program to recognize and reward a hospital’s commitment to Medtronic.

  • It's transparent as we document our partnership offerings and the resulting agreement.
  • It's equitable as the rewards are the same for every hospital offering Medtronic similar levels of commitment.
  • And it's compliant as the partnership is embedded into most of the frameworks hospitals use to procure goods and services.

Medtronic set up MedPoints in 2018 in response to changes in NHS procurement. We're proud to have been a pioneer, setting the standard for how to reward the loyalty of our customers and add value and investment back into frontline services.

What makes the MedPoints program different is that the points are available for you to spend from day 1 of the agreement, meaning you get value from our partnership immediately. You can earn MedPoints on most Medtronic products and combine them to fund larger projects/challenges.

Through partnership, we hope to build longer-lasting and deeper relationships with hospitals.

The Medtronic MedPoints Exchange website is a user-friendly site from a browser and approver side. I found it works a lot like Amazon. It clearly shows the points you have to spend, and it’s easy to browse the catalogue.
