Steerable Sheath

FlexCath Steerable Sheath

The FlexCath® Steerable Sheath is used to help position an ablation catheter for enhanced access, manueverability, and tissue contact.

FlexCath Advance Steerable Sheath

Enhanced Access, Maneuverability, and Tissue Contact

The FlexCath Advance Steerable Sheath is a unidirectional, deflectable sheath used to help position cryocatheters for enhanced access, maneuverability, and tissue contact. With 135 degrees of deflection and faster deflection response, the sheath may facilitate better access to inferior veins.*

The FlexCath Advance Steerable Sheath is the only sheath rigorously tested and specifically designed for use with Arctic Front Advance cryoballoon.

FlexCath Advance is a percutaneous catheter introducer fitted with a valve to allow for introduction, withdrawal, and swapping of catheters and wires while preventing air ingress and minimizing blood loss. It is packaged with a dilator.

The Arctic Front Advance Cardiac CryoAblation Catheter is inserted over a guide wire through the FlexCath Advance sheath to the left atrium, where the cryoballoon can be inflated and positioned to efficiently isolate the pulmonary veins with minimal energy applications. Complex, 3-dimensional mapping is not required.
