The IPC System powers all of your favorite Medtronic ENT handpieces. You can connect up to four handpieces at once, including the Straightshot® M4 and M5 Microdebriders, Legend® EHS Stylus® Drills, Endo-Scrub® 2 Lens Cleaning Sheaths, and Skeeter Otologic Drill.

The Visao High-Speed Otologic Drill allows remarkable surgical visibility and access with patented curved burs that feature an outer, non-rotating tube design to help protect critical anatomy from mechanical injury. With a lightweight titanium exterior, our Visao drill provides a well-balanced, comfortable handpiece with integrated water-cooling and low operating temperatures for long procedures. Learn more.
The Stim Bur Guard for the Visao drill is the first and only commercially available surgical tool that combines an electric drill with stimulation. Stim Bur technology works with our NIM® Nerve Monitoring Systems* to alert you of the bur’s proximity to the facial nerve during otologic surgery and help reduce the risk of patient injury.
We offer patented high-speed curved and straight burs in various shapes, sizes, and finishes for our high-speed surgical drills, as well as interchangeable Midas Rex Legend tools and attachments for the Legend EHS Stylus Drills.

Nerve monitoring capability provided by our NIM-Response® or NIM-Neuro® Nerve Monitoring Systems, models 2.0 and later. Must be used with IPC® System and Visao High-Speed Otologic Drill.
The Straightshot M4 and M5 Microdebriders are innovative, powered handpieces for ENT surgery that help improve intraoperative functionality and precision when incising or removing soft tissue, hard tissue, or bone.
These are the first microdebriders that let you rotate only the tip of the curved blade during ENT surgery. This allows you to perform 360-degree cutting in the frontal sinuses, a more complete removal of polyps and mucin in the maxillary sinuses, and gain greater access to target tissue in the lateral and posterior areas of the airway.
