GuardWire Temporary Occlusion and Aspiration System

The GuardWire® Temporary Occlusion and Aspiration System is a simple and elegant solution to distal protection.

How the GuardWire System Works

The GuardWire Temporary Occlusion and Aspiration System has demonstrated a reduction in cumulative MACE events following saphenous vein graft interventions. Easy to use, GuardWire Temporary Occlusion and Aspiration System features the EZ Adaptor device, which works seamlessly with the EZ Flator® inflation device.

When compared to unprotected procedures, the SAFER1 Trial showed:

  • 42% reduction in MACE
  • 41.5% relative reduction in myocardial infarction
  • 56.6% relative reduction in mortality
