Overview

A Versatile Sensor for Short-term, Continuous Monitoring in a Broad Range of Patient Sizes

This reusable rubber pulse oximetry sensor is designed for short-term, continuous monitoring. Integrating easily into your workflow, it’s:

  • Forward and backward compatible with your existing Nellcor™-compatible monitors
  • Engineered for dippable cleaning to enhance workflow efficiency
  • Available in two sizes, large and small, for adult and pediatric patients weighing at least 20 kg (40 lbs.)

And because it’s compliant with the latest standards, you can use the Nellcor™ flexible SpO2 sensor with Oximax™ technology in the hospital, for transport, or at home.

Product Features

Integrates easily into your workflow

The Nellcor™ flexible SpO2 sensor is compatible with RCAL and Oximax™ technology. So you can easily use it with your existing Nellcor™-compatible monitors.

Our sensor is designed for short-term (<6 hours) continuous monitoring for the majority of your patients. It features:

  • Two sizes: large and small
  • A weight range of >20 kg (40 lbs.)
  • Two versions: home care and hospital/EMS

Compliant with the current standards

The Nellcor™ flexible SpO2 sensor is highly versatile and can be used in:

  • Hospital care
  • Transport
  • Home care
  • Fixed- and rotary-winged vehicles and EMC radiated emissions
  • Extreme environments

Enhances workflow efficiency

The Nellcor™ flexible SpO2 sensor is engineered for dippable cleaning to enhance workflow efficiency. Proper cleaning of pulse oximeter probes may reduce infection transmission in the ICU.1

Accuracy
SpO2 accuracy* 70–100%: ≤2.5 digits (ARMS)
Pulse rate accuracy** 20–250 BPM: ±BPM
* Validated by clinical tests, where the measured values of the sensors were compared with those of the arterial co-oximetry in healthy adult subjects over the specified functional oxygen saturation range. These values were validated on the following monitors: Nellcor™ PM1000N, N600x, N560, N395.
** Pulse rate accuracy was verified by simulated bench tests to ensure entire range was verified. These values were verified on the following monitors: Nellcor™ PM1000N, N600x, N560, N395.
