Critical Congenital Heart Disease Screening

In this course you will learn what Critical Congenital Heart Defects are and how screening according to Department of Health and Human Services guidelines can help identify CCHDs in newborns. Additionally, there will be lessons about the recommended screening algorithm and how Nellcor™ pulse oximetry technology can be used as a tool in screening for CCHDs. You will also learn about neonatal skin and guidelines for properly removing sensors from newborns.
