Appose™ single use skin staplers dispense one staple each time the instrument trigger is activated. The staples first penetrate the skin and are then formed, holding the tissue together.
Appose™ ULC skin stapler is designed to be fired from multiple angles. It has an ejector spring that automatically disengages the staple to facilitate instrument removal in any direction.
The Appose™ ULC single use skin stapler has two different staple sizes: Regular and Wide. In the closed position, the regular staple has a width of 5.8 mm and leg length of 4.1 mm; the wide staple has a width of 6.5 mm and leg length of 4.1 mm.
The DFS stapler is a single use fascia stapler with stainless steel staples which places one staple each time the instrument handles are activated. The staples first penetrate the fascia and are then formed, thus holding the tissue together.
