Software Update

The latest software release for the Capnostream™ 35 portable respiratory monitor includes connectivity to WPA2 Enterprise, a security protocol for wireless network encryption and authentication, enhanced cybersecurity features, and more clear alarm disabled notifications.

If your facility uses or will be moving to WPA2 Enterprise, we recommend that you upgrade the software on your Capnostream™ 35 monitors, as this software enables connection to Enterprise networks. Additionally, this software includes added features that align with FDA requirements concerning cyber security. Please note, this software upgrade does not alter the essential performance of the Capnostream™ 35 portable respiratory monitor as a capnography system and/or pulse oximetry system.

This software upgrade is available to customers who have purchased the Capnostream™ 35 portable respiratory monitor in countries with market authorization to update the software from version 01.00.06.05 or version 01.05.00.416 to upgraded version 01.05.02.16.
