Focus on Shock

This course, Focus on Shock, includes a description of the major forms of shock, as well as an overview of the hemodynamic signatures of different types of shock. Hemodynamic monitoring is an important tool for detecting abnormal physiology and intervening before complications, including organ failure and death, occur. A review of the goals of hemodynamic support for shock patients concludes the course.
