Open Staplers

GIA Autosuture Stapler with DST Series Technology places two double staggered rows of titanium staples and simultaneously cut and divide tissue between the two double rows. The staplers and single use loading units are available in 60 mm, 80 mm and 100 mm lengths.

The staplers are available in three staple sizes (2.5 mm, 3.8 mm and 4.8 mm) to accommodate various tissue thicknesses, and may be reloaded up to 7 times for a total of 8 firings per instrument.

DST Series™ TA™ staplers are single use reloadable linear staplers with directional staple technology titanium staples.

Autosuture Premium Poly CS™-57 Single-Use Surgical Stapler  places two rows of Lactomer™ absorbable copolymer staples while a knife blade cuts between them, creating a 57 mm opening. The size of the staples is determined by the selection of the .140 or .170 staple size.

The DST Series™ EEA™ OrVil™ 21 mm device is a DST Series™ EEA™ 21 mm anvil assembly, and the DST Series™ EEA™ OrVil™ 25 mm device is a DST Series™ EEA™ 25 mm anvil assembly, both with the anvil head secured in the tilted position. The anvil assembly is mounted on a 90 cm long PVC delivery tube and is secured to the tube with a suture.

Only for use with the DST Series™ EEA™ XL 21 or 25 mm stapler.

The EEA™ hemorrhoid and prolapse stapler set with DST Series™ technology is designed for use as a stapler instrument for control of rectal prolapse and hemorrhoid disease. The instrument places a circular, double-staggered row of titanium DST™ staples and removes a circular tissue specimen. It is offered in a 33 mm diameter size with either 3.5 mm or 4.8 mm staples.

Premium Plus CEEA Autosuture Single Use Circular Stapler places a circular, double staggered row of titanium staples. The instrument is activated by squeezing the handles firmly as far as they will go. Immediately after staple formation, the knife blade resects the excess tissue, creating a circular anastomosis.

The diameter of the staple line is determined by the selection of the 34 mm, 31 mm, 28 mm, 25 mm, or 21 mm stapler. The Tilt-Top™ anvil is permanently affixed to the center rod and cannot be removed. It is available on the 34, 31, 28 and the 25 mm staplers.

Autosuture™ Purse String Device has stainless steel staples that are attached to the structure or organ where a purse-string is desired. The instrument is activated by squeezing the ring handles.

The Purstring™ 45 single use stapler has application in intestinal, colorectal, esophageal, gastric and cardiac surgery for temporary and permanent purse-string placement.

The Purstring™ 65 single use stapler has application in intestinal, colorectal and esophageal surgery to place temporary purse-string closures.
