Professionally, I see myself as one of the Medtronic ambassadors in front of our customers. It is my daily passion to convince physicians that we can really help some of their chronic intractable disease patients. It is a win-win situation for me and Medtronic. Personally, I am feeling a lot of gratitude when a patient says “Thank you, I have been waiting for years for such a solution”. This gratitude feeling of actually playing a role in society, is part of the Medtronic Mission.

My current position is RTG Key Account Manager for the South of Belgium. Within the RTG therapy group, we are promoting solutions using neurostimulation systems, drug pumps, spinal systems and navigation equipment to help patients find effective solutions for their chronic intractable diseases like chronic pain, movement and spinal disorders and bladder and bowel control problems.

When I joined Medtronic as a sales representative, Medtronic had just started the Neuromodulation business, and this gave me the opportunity to see the development of all the therapies from the very beginning. I have a scientific background in biology with a specialization in electrophysiology and an MBA in healthcare.

I am proud of the fact that I am part of the Medtronic history and that our treatments are becoming standard practice in Belgium as a result of the availability of clinical evidence, long-term partnerships with customers and hospitals, and full dedication and commitment from the team.

I have over 30 years of experience with Medtronic, and I am still really passionate about my job.
