A candidate for endovascular stent graft therapy's endovascular surgery team will be involved at every stage. The team may consist of vascular surgeons, radiologists, anaesthesiologists, nurse practitioners, and other specialists as needed.

Surgery: What to Expect

Unless the patient are faced with a medical emergency, will have time to learn about the surgery, what to expect, and how to prepare. Taking an active role in learning about the procedure, so that when the doctor explains the surgery,  will already be somewhat familiar with the procedure.

Questions and Answers

Before surgery, the doctor will give a medical exam, take the medical history, and talk to the patient about endovascular surgery. This is a good opportunity to ask the doctor about any questions and discuss any concerns.
