The Cardioblate® LP bipolar device features a new sleek design that enables easy access to the required anatomical structures. The Cardioblate LP System (LP device, monopolar pen, and generator) utilizes irrigated bipolar RF energy to provide surgeons with a means to ablate tissue easily and simply with confidence that the lesions are transmural.

- The sleek electrodes reduce the amount of dissection required.
- A flexible neck provides a clear line of sight to the ablation site and optimal positioning for virtually all required lesions.
- An extended neck makes traversing anatomical structures around the ablation site easier.
- The 7 cm pre-curved rigid electrodes can be rotated through 300° and feature blunt tips for safe electrode placement.
Important Safety Information
Possible complications related to the ablation of cardiac tissue in combination with open heart surgery are: tissue perforation, extension of extracorporeal bypass, perioperative heart rhythm disturbances (atrial and/or ventricular), postoperative embolic complications, pericardial effusion or tamponade, injury to the great vessels, valve leaflet damage, conductions disturbances (SA/AV node), acute ischemic myocardial event and thrombus formation.
