WHAT IS DBS?

A DBS device sends electrical signals within the brain that can block some of the messages that cause motor symptoms.

  • You have chronic dystonia*
  • You have been unable to successfully manage your symptoms with medication
  • You have primary dystonia
  • You are 7 years of age or older
