Medtronic Venous Cannulae are designed to provide optimal venous drainage while providing flexibility and ease of use. We offer a variety of single stage venous cannulae with kink-resistant, wire-wound bodies in sizes from 12 Fr – 24 Fr. Offered in both straight and right angle with multiport tips and the option for a thin-wall, metal-tip design, our product breadth ensures the availability of a cannula to meet your specific needs.
DLP™ Single Stage Venous Cannulae with Right Angle Metal Tip are designed for maximum venous drainage performance during cardiopulmonary bypass. These feature kink-resistant, wire-wound bodies with beveled metal multi-port tips in pediatric sizes from 12 Fr through 20 Fr. The unique thin-wall, metal-tip design provides the highest flow rates with minimal pressure differential. A tip orientation line permits precise positioning of the cannulae in the SVC or IVC.
DLP Malleable Single Stage Venous Cannulae are designed to allow the surgeon to shape and position the cannulae to best fit the patient anatomy and the thoracic incision. These cannulae feature a malleable wire integrated in the body wall over the length of the cannulae outside of the wire winding. The one-piece, kink-resistant, wire-wound bodies allow high flow rates with minimal pressure differential. Tapered, multi-port tips ease insertion and depth markings permit precise positioning of the cannulae.
Arterial cannulae are intended to deliver oxygenated blood. Our pediatric arterial cannulae are available in sizes from 6 Fr to 16 Fr for pediatric patients in a variety of tip configurations and in different lengths and connector sizes to meet your specific needs.
DLP™ One-Piece Pediatric Arterial Cannula are designed to deliver arterial return during cardiopulmonary bypass while optimising access within the sternotomy space on even the smallest pediatric patients. Models range in sizes from 6 Fr to 16 Fr for pediatric patients. Features include beveled, thin-wall tips and elongated one-piece, kink-resistant, wire-wound bodies. This construction allows for higher flow rates with minimal pressure differential. An adjustable introducer allows variable extension beyond the tip and depth marks on the body permit precise positioning of the cannulae. The exclusive Flow-Guard™ feature provides hemostasis while priming the cannulae.
DLP Straight Tip Arterial Cannulae have traditional non-wire-wound tapered bodies for optimal arterial flow performance for cardiopulmonary bypass. Features include beveled, thin-wall tips and a turret-style flange. This design allows for high flow rates with minimal pressure differential. A tip orientation line permits precise positioning of the cannulae.
Femoral cannulae provide greater versatility of cannulation techniques to meet the needs of the changing patient population and the desire for smaller thoracic incisions. Designed to be placed in the femoral vein and/or artery, Medtronic Femoral Cannulae are ideally suited for direct insertion. The unique flat, wire-wound, thin-walled construction of the Bio-Medicus® Cannulae maximizes flow rates and cannula flexibility. Our product offerings in pediatric sizes ensure the availability of a cannula to meet your specific needs.
Bio-Medicus® Pediatric Arterial Cannulae provide the best arterial flow performance due to their thin wall urethane design. These cannulae feature elongated, one-piece, kink-resistant, wire-wound bodies with beveled tips. This thin-wall, flat-wire reinforced design allows for higher flow rates with minimal pressure differential. An introducer and depth markings on the cannulae bodies permit precise insertion and placement. These Bio-Medicus cannulae are available with Cortiva™ BioActive Surface coating.
