Duna Medical Center (DMC), located in Budapest, Hungary, aims to become the leading private hospital in the region, known for its ability to provide safe, high-quality services and the latest procedures to their patients.
That’s why they embarked on a seven-year partnership with Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) to develop a new hospital that will offer patients highly advanced therapy and treatments while broadening local access to new levels of expertise and technology.
The impact
In January 2021, the new hospital opened and significantly increased DMC’s capacity:
Doubled the number of inpatient beds - from 14 to 28
30% growth in 2021 by adding 10-15 new procedures every month
Double ORs – from 2 to 4 – with an additional 2 ORs for future use
20,000 meters of floor area
