When and why did you join Medtronic?

I joined Medtronic in January 2020 right before the global pandemic. The skills I acquired via my degree aligned with the mission statement of the company.

Medtronic being at the forefront of the global medical technology space provided me with the perfect opportunity to contribute to patient healthcare and because of this innovative space and dynamic working environment that aims to improve patient outcomes, I did not think twice to join.

What is your current position and what do you do?

I currently work in the aortic and peripheral vascular space as an associate technical consultant where our focus is to support vascular surgeons with endovascular abdominal aortic repair as well as provide innovative solutions for peripheral arterial disease.

What do you like the most about your job?

Constantly meeting new people that are passionate about innovative healthcare and collaborating with them to save patients' lives. Working in the Aortic and Peripheral Vascular space is challenging in a good sense, but also very rewarding and that creates a sense of drive that gets one's blood pumping in the morning!

Why would you recommend working at Medtronic?

I would highly recommend working at Medtronic if you are goal-driven and passionate about healthcare. Medtronic is a patient-focused company that strives for excellence whilst creating an environment for its employees to thrive in!
