Ambassador Program

Bowel Incontinence

Wondering what Medtronic Bowel Control Therapy feels like? Or what it's like to go through the evaluation or implant procedure? Talk with an ambassador! An ambassador is someone who has an InterStim System and has volunteered to share his or her experience with people who are considering Medtronic Bowel Control Therapy.

What's an Ambassador?

Ambassadors are not medical experts or Medtronic employees. They're people who experience bowel control problems and are willing to answer your questions about their experience with the InterStim System.

You may want to ask the ambassador questions like: What made you decide to try the evaluation? What does the stimulation feel like? How has your quality of life changed as a result of having the InterStim System? The InterStim Ambassador Program gives you the opportunity to talk on the phone with someone who can relate to what you're experiencing. These ambassadors want to share their experience with you and answer your questions. Because they have gone through the evaluation and are receiving long-term therapy, ambassadors offer insight that can be very helpful. There is no cost to talk with an InterStim ambassador.

What One Ambassador Says

Lauren HenderbergLauren: "I want to spread the word about this procedure because I am now able to take worry free walks and vacations. My hobbies are my family, reading, learning, and exercise. All of these activities have been more enjoyable with Interstim therapy. I have two children, ages 7 and 2, and I am a substitute teacher and swim coach."
