Vertebral artery
Coils were deployed as initial occlusion device. However, flow persisted despite coil pack due to hypertrophy of the vessels.
The MVP device was selected because the PTFE covering enables full vessel sealing. Once the MVP device was deployed, mechanical vessel occlusion was achieved with no persistent flow.
Mid 20-year-old male with gun shot wound to upper back.
Vertebral pseudoaneurysm progressed to fistula.
