Stent Grafts (Aortic Aneurysms) Our Therapies

Stent Grafts (Aortic Aneurysms)

For more than a decade, people with thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms have relied on endovascular stent grafts for relief. Stent grafts act as a small, metal scaffold inside your aorta. They support the weak area of your aorta.

For Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

An abdominal aortic aneurysm is a bulging or ballooning in a part of your aorta that runs through your abdomen. Over time, this bulge can become weak and the force of normal blood pressure can cause it to rupture. A rupture nearly always results in death. Endovascular stent grafts reinforce the area of the aorta weakened by the aneurysm to prevent rupturing.
