If you have a Medtronic or non-Medtronic insulin pump with more than 6 months warranty remaining, you may be eligible to upgrade to the MiniMed™ 780G system for $1,200!* Price and program subject to change.

By placing an order for a new MiniMed™ 780G System, I acknowledge the following: I understand the terms and conditions of the program, including:


  • The cost of the SmartSwitch Program is $1,200
  • The actual length of time of the existing pump warranty will transfer and apply to the new MiniMed™ 780G system warranty at time of shipment (i.e. I will have the same warranty end date)
  • The MiniMed 780G system can’t be returned once received
  • I acknowledge that I may keep my current insulin pump device but that it is unsafe to pass it on to someone else. 

In order for us to be able to contact you, we need your consent to the following:


  • Medtronic can communicate with you regarding our diabetes products by telephone, text, fax, mail and/or e-mail.
  • That you have read and are aware of our privacy policy.
  • That you grant Medtronic Canada ULC permission to send you updates on diabetes and diabetes technology..
  • That Medtronic stores information, including personal health information, on systems located outside of Canada.
  • You may revoke this permission at any time by emailing medtronicdiabetescc@medtronic.com

Terms and Conditions apply. This offer is available to customers who wish to replace their existing Medtronic or non-Medtronic pump with the new MiniMed™ 780G system provided there is a minimum of 6 months warranty remaining on it at time of shipment. The actual length of time of the existing pump warranty will transfer and apply to the new MiniMed™ 780G system warranty at time of shipment. One CGM Starter Kit is included with the new system (comprised of:  Guardian 4 Transmitter and one box of 5 Guardian 4 Sensors (glucose sensors). Limit to one transmitter per 12-month period while using CGM. This offer has no cash value. This Program is subject to change without notice. Program eligibility requirements will apply. This offer is available until April 25, 2025.

The MiniMed™ 780G insulin pump is indicated for use by patients age 7-80 years with Type 1 diabetes, whose total daily dose of insulin is 8 units per day or more. Some user interaction required. Individual results may vary.

The CGM Starter kit consists of Guardian 4 Sensor and Guardian 4 Transmitter Kit.
