Our Mission to alleviate pain, restore health and extend life continues to guide us as we bring more innovative medical technologies to patients in need.

1994
Launch of InterStim™ Therapy. The first Sacral Neuromodulation implant was launched in Australia, paving the way for patients around the world to experience full bladder and bowel control.
2002
Launch of the first remote monitoring system in the medical device industry, enabling secure data transfer from select patient devices to authorised doctors via the Internet.
2010
Medtronic launches Tri-Staple™ technology, with an innovative design of varied staple heights and a stepped cartridge face, making a remarkable impact to the stapling market.
2014
Kerrin Rennie Award for Reveal LINQ™. A miniature insertable heart monitor (about the size of a paperclip).
2017
PRIDE Employee Resource Group, ANZ Chapter was established. Advancing Diversity and Inclusion. ANZ now has 9 ERGs:
