Présentation

L’implant chirurgical Permacol™ est destiné à l’implantation permanente chez l’homme et est indiqué pour la reconstruction, le remodelage et la reformation des tissus conjonctifs mous humains, en particulier en cas de perte de derme, et en tant que tissu de soutien dans le cadre de procédures chirurgicales telles que les affections et les hernies de la paroi abdominale. 

L’implant chirurgical Permacol™ est une feuille plate fibreuse, stérile, de couleur blanc cassé, humide, souple et résistante, constituée de collagène dermique acellulaire d’origine porcine et de ses fibres d’élastine.

Il est fourni humide en solution saline stérile et est conditionné dans un double emballage sous vide et scellé à chaud, comprenant un sachet pelable en aluminium (interne) et un sachet pelable en polyester/polyéthylène (externe) qui sont imperméables à l’oxygène et à l’humidité.

Les bénéfices liés à l’utilisation de l’implant chirurgical Permacol™ incluent la résistance, la biocompatibilité et l’incorporation aux tissus receveurs associée à une croissance cellulaire et microvasculaire, et la réduction des phénomènes d’adhérence pouvant survenir entre la prothèse et les tissus en cas de contact direct avec les viscères.
