Overview

The benefits of real anatomical design

Dextile™ anatomical mesh offers:

  • 3-D patented anatomical shape to conform with contours of each side of the inguinal anatomy1,2
  • Wide coverage of the myopectineal orifice to minimize risk of recurrence3,4
  • Exclusive structure to maintain shape after trocar passage2,5,6,7
  • Large pore size to support excellent tissue ingrowth and visualization of surrounding anatomy during surgery6,7,8,9,10

The uniquely designed Dextile™ anatomical mesh is an easy-to-use solution that improves anatomical compliance.3,5-7

Technology

The Dextile™ anatomical mesh is designed for effective hernia repair. Specifically, for minimally invasive — including conventional TAPP and TEP and robotic TAPP surgical approach — inguinal hernia surgery.11

Mesh composition

Dextile™ anatomical mesh is made from nonabsorbable monofilament polypropylene textile. It has an exclusive structure that offers the right balance of anatomical shape, increased coverage size, porosity and strength.1,3,5-7,10,12

This includes:

  • Unique textile knit pattern which is soft, yet rigid2,5,7
  • Thermoformed 3-D shape with distinct sealed edges1
  • Large pore size for transparency7,10
