Technical support for Cardiac Remote Monitoring

For patients

The cardiac device remote monitoring support team assist with home monitoring queries for patients with pacemakers, defibrillators (ICDs), heart failure devices (cardiac resynchronisation therapy/CRT) and insertable cardiac monitors. 

Support topics include help with: 

  • Setting up your home monitor
  • Sending a transmission
  • Troubleshooting monitor issues

NOTE: Medtronic provides MONITOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT ONLY. For all clinical questions, you must contact your heart doctor/follow-up clinic. 

Travelling patients

Contact your health care professional prior to travelling. Should you require a device check, please visit your nearest major hospital. Please remember to contact your device doctor to confirm if using your monitor or heart app to send a transmission if needed before transmitting. For more information, visit here.

Please note, Medtronic is unable to assist with clinical support. Example clinical questions to be directed to the patient’s healthcare professional and NOT Medtronic: 

  • Can I check MRI compatibility?
  • Can I arrange a sales representative to check a device?
  • Can I order a Reveal LINQ hand held portable activator?
  • The patient has a cardiac device; can a certain medical procedure be performed?
  • Request to turn off a device, change device settings, etc.
